Youth Committee
The St Paul’s Youth Committee comprises of a team of some of our Church’s most active young parishioners. The committee is focused on providing young Orthodox Christians opportunities to live the Orthodox Faith through community engagement and friendship. Our Youth Committee works closely with Fr Jean and Kh Rita, and the the clergy across Victoria through ACOY Victoria (Antiochian Christian Orthodox Youth). Events include trivia nights, spiritual retreats and family camps; seeing visiting icons, and attending spiritual education events offered across the various Antiochian Orthodox Churches around greater Melbourne.
St Paul’s 2025 Youth Committee
The Youth Committee meets annually for elections and works closely with the Parish Council and the Family Ministry to achieve consistency in the Church’s aims and achieve its goals. Each member of the Youth Committee is deeply involved in Church life and collaborates with other bodies in the Church regularly, including working with the Ladies Committee to prepare Sunday meals on special occasions; helping prepare for catering and celebratory events; involvement in the choir, in the soccer team, etc.

St Paul’s Youth Committee is committed to extending the hand of friendship to anyone who approaches them. Their events see regular attendance not only by young parishioners of St Paul’s, but also other Orthodox Christian youth across Victoria, as well as youth from other traditions who have taken an interest in Orthodoxy, and youth with no faith background at all. Our youth are central to our Church life and we thank God for their vigor for goodwill, and the sincerity of their Orthodox Christian faith.
