St Paul’s Football Club – Season Wrap-Up

The 2025 season was a significant one for St Paul’s Football Club, highlighted by the introduction of our inaugural women’s team.

In their first year, the players made a strong impression. Jacinta Ghunaim was outstanding, winning both the club’s Best and Fairest and the league’s Best and Fairest. Monique Karisson was also recognised, finishing as Club, Runner Up Best and Fairest.

The club thanks Roger Karisson and his assistant Joe Salonja for their efforts in coaching and supporting the women’s team throughout the season.

The men’s program faced a challenging year, with the senior team working hard to stay in the top division. Their determination paid off, and the team secured its place for next season despite significant challenges throughout the year. A welcome boost came when Ivan Bajo returned midway through the year, bringing stability and leadership.

Award winners for the men’s teams included:

Seniors Best and Fairest – Andy Qumsieh

Seniors Runner Up – Will Sookan

Reserves Best and Fairest – Stephan Zoudeh (his second time receiving the award)

Reserves Runner Up – Chris Karisson

The season concluded with a Presentation Night attended by over 120 guests. It was a chance to celebrate the achievements of both teams and acknowledge the effort of players, coaches, and volunteers. We presented all awards to players, managers and coaches and had a wonderful evening reflecting on the year that was.

The club extends its gratitude to our sponsors Marechal Australia, Anvo, Colterlec, Uneek Flooring, Dandenong Pavilion and IGA as well Levant Catering. We also thank the many family members, friends, and supporters who contributed to making the year a success.

St Paul’s Football Club looks forward to building on this year’s achievements and continuing to grow both the men’s and women’s programs in the seasons ahead.
